Welcome

I wish you a warm welcome to the website for the London Province of "The United Religious, Military and Masonic Orders of the Temple and of St. John of Jerusalem, Palestine, Rhodes and Malta in England and Wales and Provinces Overseas", or as it is more simply known, the Knights Templar. Like Freemasonry, the Order has a number of provinces across the country, the Province of London being one of them. We serve around 900 Knights and I hope this website provides a little more information on our history, setup, charity work and social activities as well as providing a greater understanding and appreciation of our Order. Please feel free to browse and if you have any questions or wish to have more information, we will be delighted to hear from you.

Yours in the Bonds of the Order

Rt. E.Kt. David Thompson
Provincial Prior for The Province of London

London Provincial Carol Service
Saturday 7th December 2024 at noon

The annual Provincial Carol Service is to be held on Saturday 7th December at St. Andrew, Holborn - 5 St. Andrew Street, London EC4A 3AF.

The Right Eminent Provincial Prior would be delighted if you, your family and friends would join us for our service at the wonderful church where we held the Feast of St. John the Baptist earlier in the year. Our carol service will commence at noon on Saturday, 7th December. The service will be followed by a lunch the lunch that is designed to give Knights and their guests a sample of what they can expect to enjoy on any visit to either the main hospital in East Jerusalem or any of the other sites within the Eye Hospital Group, all of which are located in either the West Bank or Gaza rarther than Israel itself. We are not making making a political statement but are hoping to increase awareness of the working environment of the St John Eye Hospital Group. The choice of Palestinian hot lunches include chicken or falafel box or lamb or halloumi wraps, all with salad as well as wine and dessert. We will conclude our lunch, which will be in the church, by 3.00pm.

We receive great support from St. Andrew and Hiba, the Palestinian restaurant providing the food, and are able to offer a reduced price of £24 for adults and £12 for children.
